Smile Hello Autotopians!

As shine fanatics, you'll understand my arrival here.

It's a double-edged sword in a way....

I worked in the construction trades for 3 decades in the Northeast before moving to the sunny east coast of Florida.

Too many years of battering the back and knees had taken its toll, so I quit the biz and started looking for a new way to earn $$.
<--- I can no longer do this.

Anyway, after a few years of exposure to the sun, Virginia red clay mud and over-sprayed paint, I decided to clean my white Silverado.

What a nightmare!

So I'm here to find out what to use to remove the thousands of lil' paint specks.

BUT....
In doing so, I got very excited about the latest products you guys are using to detail the new cars.
So, now I'm thinking about getting into the care care distribution business.
I'm making some inquiries and outlining a marketing plan.

Basically, my dirty truck has led me to a new business opportunity!

So, I'd appreciate some advice from you pros on how to get the paint specks off my white clearcoat finish and what to put on it once it's clean.
And the final top coat should be.....?

As far as selling waxes, polishes and cleaners....
No worries. I'm not into spamming you guys. I just want to know who has the best stuff in the business.
This is all pretty new and excitin' to me!

Thanks!

Re: Hello Autotopians!

The forums have a search feature that has helped me a lot. Do a search for "clay" and there will be a lot of posts for paint-cleaning clay that is widely used for contaminants that find their way on to the paint. Good luck.
