Yeah, I picked up on that, my uncle is a retired lifer from the NOFD, used to be a driver on the Harrison Ave & Robert E. Lee Stations, another friend was former Chief McCrossen's driver and yet another older friend of mine serves on the board with the NOFD, what do you call it when they go to conventions all the time, is that the union?
At any rate, again welcome, born and raised in NOLA, moved to the northshore in the 70's and in the last year moved even further north to "New Chalmette" as we call it, Picayune, MS...no flooding here or levies to worry about and we have no problem with "disney like" sanitation services in our down town area...

Re: Hello from N.O.

Thanks fellas, I need to find a place in louisiana where I can maybe take a class on polishing and waxing before I start trying to do other peoples cars. Being on the fire dept i have plenty of down time to do details. I quit cutting grass and have always had a love for clean cars.
