Hello from SC
Just found this site through a google search on auto detailing. Decided to join to get some info on detailing cars.

Currently on an intensive detail, I start with Megs Scratch X, go to Cleaner Wax, and then Gold Class. All done by hand.

I am contemplating getting a DA polisher (Porter Cable 7424) as I have heard it does not burn paint easily like a rotary can.

I enjoy detailing and have no problem spending a full day working on my car or my wife's car. We have an '08 Pontiac G5 GT and an '06 Pontiac G6 GTP. And I take pride in keeping the cars looking great.

I just want to learn more about detailing and ridding my cars of the fine scratches as well as just learning about products other than Meguiars.

I live in the upstate area too.

Which Summerville SC are you from?? Mapquest shows a Summerville NW of Colombia and one close to the shore.
