New to Forum, Not new to Cars!

I'm a Firefighter / Paramedic for a large department in South Texas.

I have been to the site numerous times in the past and finally obtained a login/password.

I started washing and detailing cars 15 years ago when I needed to earn cash in high school, doing jobs for family and neighbors.

While I haven't earned $$ for it for a long long time, I've been a "detail junkie" since the first car i owned!

I joined the forum for the wealth of info I discovered this site has.

I have been an entrepreneur since I discovered what money was, and being a firefighter and with the shift work that goes along with it, I have time for alternate streams of income. Thus, I have been contemplating starting a mobile detail service business.

I have learned long ago that if you love your work, it will not seem like work at all!

I am in the research stage right now for my business plan; studying the market, competition, price structure, clientele and niche market demographics, supply costs, developing short-long term goals etc etc.

From what I have seen on this forum, the members here offer an excellent resource of both knowledge AND guidance for those who wish to learn more about the technical and business aspects of detailing for the begining and on-going professional (and for the ameteur).

I look forward to contributing to the forum.
