Hello everyone. Been lurking here for months and have learned all kinds of stuff from 01bluecls, th0001, rydawg, deanski, scottwax, and a bunch of others.

I actually found this place during the process of trying to learn how to paint. I got diverted on the "cutting and buffing" step and have been here looking around ever since. Never did paint anything, but I am learning how to polish.

I really appreciate all the information available here and will post some pics of some practice I've done on my car once I reach 10 posts.

Ah... good to hear some folks know of Richmond... I don't hear too many folks from here on Autopia...

Shockoe Slip buzzes on... it's the place where people want to be and, for lack of a better way to put it, feel safe. Plenty to eat, see, and places to meet folks. I've got young kids and don't get down there much.

I live not far from St. Mary's hospital, which is in the near West End, I think they call it.

Thanks for the welcome. I was pretty excited about my headlights I did last night, so I will post them up when I can. Looking forward to growing my skill and picking up more pointers.
