New "Canadian from Detroit"

Hello everyone,

I am finally coming to the surface now that the weather has me itching to go outside and work on my car! I have been lurking and learning here for awhile now, and would like to start actively fixing up my car for summer cruising!

I am a college student from Windsor, Ontario but go to school in Detroit, MI. My "ride of choice" (lol) is a white 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix SE. Certainly not a cutting edge automobile by todays standards, but I try to keep it looking as close to show-room new as possible. My Girlfirend calls it my "spaceship", based on it's NASA white exterior/wheels and a plethora of ridiculous buttons and controls! lol

I have done some "driveway detailing" for friends and neighbours over the last few years, using mostly OTC products, however using proper methods influenced from autopia.

I currently own a Rotary, although I am not skilled in it's operation. It is actually my dad's and he purchased it to buff our families motorhome last year. lol I would like to learn and master this tool, as I realize the advanced results I could achieve from it.
I also have been accumulating MF towels and take care of them using the vinegar rinsing method.

I look forward to sharing my work, and learning from all of your criticisms.

Scott

A college friend and fraternity brother teaches at CCS, his name is Michael Nanna. I believe he is in Institutional Research and Planning.
