New Guy from Michigan
Hey guys, figured i would set up an account on this site instead of just lurking around all of the threads.
Anyways, im 19 (going to be 20 in May) and i drive a 2005 Victory Red Cobalt LS Coupe (A/T) with about 44,000 on it. Yea i know its nothing really that special, but im trying to make the most of what i have and i definately do take a lot of pride in taking care of it and maintaining it.
I thought i was somewhat familiar with detailing a car until i started to read up on this site a few days ago. I now starting to see that there is A LOT of small details and A LOT of different minor things that go into producing the perfect detail job. I'm looking forward to reading up a lot on this site and getting to learn the RIGHT VS. WRONG way to do things.
Heres a quick picture i just took this morning of what im working with. (There was a little bit of frost on the car)

Welcome from West Michigan! You're doing great, when I was 20 my car was a rust bucket! Detailing was not the #1 priority. Look around the forum and you'll keep your ride looking great.

Re: New Guy from Michigan
Another welcome from another W MI'agander!
One suggestion, when and if you are looking for products, Danase is a top notch seller. Not to mention, since both parties are in MI, shipping is QUICK and cheap. Quick as in a day or two MAX.

yea most of my friends make fun of me since i spend so much time cleaning and maintaining my car, but some ppl just dont understand. i guess its a car guy thing. lol
its all worth it though when someone says "wow your car is so clean" when they see you getting out of your car or into your car.

I haven't been to the Dream Cruise in about 4 years. I'd like to go this year though.
You ever go to the Crusin' Downriver cruise?
