New Guy From NOVA!

Hey all,
I have been snooping around for a couple months now, and thought I should introduce myself.

I am 23 year old college student. I go to george mason, and just started a (very) small detailing business about a month ago, so far just friends and friends friends. But once it heats up I am sure I will have some more business. I live in a small town which is full of rich people, so I only do cars local to my town and offer pickup and delivery!

I am a heavy poster on e90post.com and before popping into autopia, I learned ALOT there. Scheerspeed, FMINUS, joyriide, picus, and to name a few. (I think there is some overlap with some of these members)

Anyway I have had my PC for about 2 years now, and have a FLEX on the way. I am pretty proud of my little collection of goodies, and one thing on my wishlist is a CRspotless! I pretty much use C.G products, Zaino, and Menzerna!

Now that I have introduced myself, you guys should see me around the forum! Thanks for everything guys, and here is a picture of what I have so far!!

-Richard

Re: New Guy From NOVA!

I think everybody missed my thread,

So far I have done 4 cars for customers (officially) now and 3 more lined up next week, but I have been doing friends cars for years! Really enjoy doing it and think this is a great place to learn more!!

I have no idea...I have no clue about sports...

I am a dude that is into cars and women, I have never been to a game (of any type) at mason, and know nothing about it!! But if you you say mason won then we did!!

Hope your huskies do well this year in the sport you are talking about!!!

GO HUSKIES!!!

Hey welcome to the forum! Nice to see another NOVA person. You have a nice collection of supplies there. I'd say you better start detailing for money just to help pay for all your supplies! ha..ha..! Thats what orig got me started.

Re: New Guy From NOVA!

I'm over in Fairfax/Loudoun. I am constantly buying new stuff also. Not as much bulk though just yet. I am like you in that I only detail occasionally. I have a full time Job that I love so I do not need a large client base to make a living at it and that really allows me to take my time with a clients car. I mostly do full details and am targeting High End cars. I'm not really into cleaning Apple sauce from the rear seats and picking out 2 yr old french fries from between the seats LOL! I will if I have to but most of my clients take care of their cars to some degree. Anyway welcome and I will look forward to seeing some of your work posted on here. I need to post some more myself when I get the time.
