The correct word for "friend" in Portuguese is Amigo. Whenever you want some portuguese "classes" you can count on me.

Daniel Wendell | Thank you. I have some experience with that kind of work, but a doubt can always appear at any time.
I am frightened with your works. Of fact, we have much to learn with you.
Obrigado amigo! | |

Daniel Wendell | Hey Dainel, in Portugal, they speak Portuguese, not Spanish
Its a much "rougher" lanuage, but it does sound good when the pretty Brazilian girls speak it
Welcome to the forum amigo, um grande abraco. (Again my portuguese is terrible, but I think it means a big group hug!).

I got around in italy speaking spanish.... they even thought i was from spain, that was great cus i didnt get mistreated. And i even met someone from where i wen it spain last year.
Anyway, again welcome. You will grow to not go a day without checking autopia, and if you go on a trip you will go through withdrawal symptoms lol

It´s "normal" people think that Portugal and Spain are the same thing. And speak the same language. For example, in Mexico they speak spanish and in Brazil people speak portuguese.
Both languages born in latin, a "death-tongue" and they are similar, but not equal.
When you come to Portugal I explain better!
Thank you again for your welcome.
