03 Ford Fiesta - black roof rack strips

I'm giving the wife's car the full treamtment and the black strips running down each side of the roof are well grimy. Trouble is I can't find a way to remove them. On my Honda, they just clip on to a couple of pins at each end, but these seem to be stuck on? The owners manual makes no mention of them, or even fitting a roof rack.

Does anybody know whether they are removable?

Give your local Ford dealer a call. Maybe the parts department.
