Meet: Rotary usage

Following on from Andy's post in the Machine Polishing forum (here) and pugoman's suggestion of having a meet, I thought I'd post something here.

I guess the main focus of the meet will be rotary usage, tips and tricks etc, but I imagine it could be extended to include machine polishing as a whole

- amongst other things.

So, who would be interested in this and where would be a good central location and time for everybody to meet up?

I'm definitely up for this and happy to provide location if required (J7 M3 area) and I'll whip out my Clarke rotary so see whether it needs binning or if it's just me!!

I'm near J17 M4.

Well so far I think Andy is most "central" as I'm near J6 of the M25. I guess if we leave this thread open for a week to gauge interest and then plan it from there?

Shame we didn't pick this weekend really - although it's heading for 30 degrees this week by all accounts.

Any thoughts on a date?

I'm free on any day from Sunday 17th through to Sunday 24th. Although any weekend should be good for me.

Sunday 17th would be perfect for me. Other than that in July I could only do Sunday 31st.

I`m recovering from a leg op at the moment, otherwise I would have been making the trip south.

I can't do this weekend - my niece's 2nd birthday party followed by a BBQ at GF's boss's place then a car show Sunday locally.

Following weekend I could do either day but weekend after that I'm at an Irish wedding so will be unable to do pretty much anything for a couple of days afterward...
