FS: Canon Powershot A40 Digital Camera.

My wife and I have been wanting to upgrade to a better camera for a while now.. lately we've been taking a lot of pics between the both of us with my detailing and her horse shows. While this camera takes EXCELLENT photos and has been extremely reliable we need something with a little more range as far as focus zoom goes. The arenas my wife and daughter compete in are HUGE... so I need something to work for our needs.

Oh yeah.. this thing does record short video WITH audio. This was one of the main reasons I bought it because it had audio included in the video capture.

Anyways.. here it is..

-No red eye mode

The camera also has the option of adding on aftermarket lenses.

With the A40 Im including a camera bag and 128MB compact flash card. It also comes with the original box and ALL paperwork including my receipt along with original CD ROM disk. Like I mentioned, this camera has been extremely durable and reliable. After owning this camera I will continue to buy Canon products. Some of you have seen my detailing pictures, they were all taken with this camera. I will provide some samples below. This camera is a great point and shoot camera with other modes for more advance pic shooting with even further capabilities because it can accept aftermarket lenses.

I checked online and it looks like this camera still goes for $200 w/o card or accessories. (bag)

A 2 megapixel camera is worth ~$50-60. Sorry to burst your bubble. You can get one on ebay with a 256MB card for $63. Many others to choose from.

A PM would have been a much nicer way of letting me know instead of derailing my for sale thread to other cameras on ebay. I had no idea they are that cheap on ebay.

Youre right.. Ill consider offers for sure but Im not letting it go for what they have them on ebay for. For $60 Id rather give it to my daughter to get her started.

That may be your best bet then...........I was looking at a 3.0 mp last nght that was less then what your asking....
Anything over a year old has depreciated quite a bit....and withe all the holiday sales going on, well...........its just timing.
Take a look here also.........
