I hate the idea of road salt/snow/grime sitting on my paints surface for a long period of time. There is a do-yourself car wash near my house where I frequent often (bring my own tools). However, I find myself debating whether to go or not if the low temperatures are going to reach the teens and lower. I don't mind washing my truck in the cold and I can throughly dry my cars surface, door jams and such but obviously cannot dry the frame, suspension, etc. Is this going to hurt these components if I wash them and they freeze soon after??

Here is my local 10-Day forecast...what do you think? Is it too cold to wash my truck?

Here in MN I run my Daily Driver through the touch less regardless of the weather. I haven't had anything freeze shut yet, but I'm sure it will happen. The Zaino holds up remarkably well!

:LOLOL ya I hear ya. If the weather is nice, I'll put the Audi and Cobra in the driveway and put the big ol F-150 in the garage and melt it all away. Good time to detail the interior and exterior.

We have 45+F degrees here in Helsinki, Finland, I really like winter if it's going to be like this :)
But I think it's safe to wash it as long as the water isn't freezing, and even if it does, some ice on it is better than salt and dirt.

I have a hot water hose and wash my car in any weather.. the only determining factor is how much I have to bundle up. Sometimes when its really cold the water freezes a little while wiping it dry.
