showcardetailing (aka Octaneguy) in anaheim sells some detailing supplies, and superautotoyz (formerly superautobacs) in stanton as well...

I'm mostly looking for DA pads and polishes if that helps. Maybe I should just order online, but was wondering if there was a place local that I could just stop into.

that carnuba store is overpriced...

I only order online as most of the stuff local is overpriced compared to the discounts you can get online.

I agree with Carnuba store being over priced. They actually marked up their price about 10% over MSRP for consumer purchase.
I suggest visiting Senik in Orange, Fountain Valley Paints in FV near Eculid, or Sherwin Williams in Santa Ana. They sell Meguiars and 3M polish, pads, sanding paper.
There is place like 127.0.0.1

I painter friend of mine told me about an auto paint store in Laguna Niguel.

Anyway, it is called The Paint Store. They have a complete line of 3m and Meguiar's pads and polishes in stock on the shelves.

I know that it's not close, but if you ever happen to be in SD, there are a few places that sell detailing supplies. I don't know if it's still there, but there was a place on Main St. in Chula Vista just east of the 805, that sold supplies.

These guys are awful. The worse service and attitudes I have ever seen. My guess is they won't last long treating customers badly. Note, I am not the only detailer who thinks this!

What? I've been to their store and talked with one of the guys, they're also my main source for products online. Rene was super helpful and nice to everyone that came in. I always have great, fast shipping online, too. First post and you're bashing them??? Sounds suspicious to me.

3D also has a store in Santa Ana (1519 S. Grand Ave), which is much closer to south OC.

The place has everything you need, but also what you do not need (Rene') John is cool....................... but Rene's has to go and until he does................. those who know behind the scenes stuff do not need to comment "I got this" as always.

I've had a couple of not so great moments, but overall, they're ok.
Is Rene the taller guy with longish, dark hair?
