Heh heh, not surprised your Mom is the best shot of the bunch either I've seen plenty of women who were the best at the range.
The federals I hope to never have to use, but I know one day I'll just empty the clip to see how they feel. If I don't start a new job soon I'll be back in Ga for Christmas and maybe I'll find out then . 3 days in deep counrty I know I'll go through 400 rounds with my brothers there this time. Great times......and If I'm luck some Cuban cigars to go with it

I brought it up as some of my autos simply don't feed certain rounds all that great even though they're perfect with other loads. Sometimes the smithy could tweak things for the rounds I wanted to use, but other times the piece simply wasn't gonna run some load 100%. Not something you want to find out on the two-way range

My wife runs hardball FMJs in her Govt. Model as she simply won't risk a stoppage, and I'm not gonna say she's wrong

And heh heh, yeah, you might have more trouble finding those Cuban smokes outside of FLA

Re: Good hand guns

lol since it appears you went with the taurus in 40 cal

pick up some winchester ranger t law enforcement ammo for self defense. its black talons with a changed name, and rated the best self defense ammo in a .40 numerous times by independant reviewers.

if you cant find that, federal hst is a very close second.

AR15 snd build it yourself from a stripped lower reciever, you wont regret it. i completed mine for a hair under $650 with a match barrel, optics (eotech 512) and the remaining accessories

and the AR i built and sold to my friend

beilieve me ak's are no competition (clunky, poor quality stamped steel and 1/2 as accurate) and the only other reasonable assault rifle of comperable quality imo is the HK91 which is over twice the cost USED! and have few benifits over an AR

hope it helps. check out AR15.COM for more info on any assualt rifle (or gun for that matter) that you could think of. its a great, and very helpful site
