Just messing around while riding today, shot some video while I was out at River Legacy Park in Arlington. Damn fine place to ride. Going about 17-18 mph or so.
Actually did hit 20+ but turned off the camera too soon.

Looks like a cool place to ride, but the visual of you in spandex holding a rotary and scaring people and animals ruined it for me! LOL Good for you doing the rides after detailing all day! At 52 I am lucky I can get up off the couch after a simple wash and wax!

Great place to ride...no cars! Tons of animals too, last night I saw several armadillos, snakes, squirrel and rabbits. Couple possums out too. Also have seen a few skunks and bobcats this month too.

I got back into road bikes about 20 months ago. Used to ride all the time when I was younger. I have a Cannondale R400, older bike, 1999 model I believe. 19 pounds or so. Aluminum frame and very responsive. |

hey, Nice vids!
I'm from Australia. I'm a bit of a lurker actually. I think this is my first post.
I also ride road bikes and Mountain bikes. I have a Cannondale too, a CAAD8 R5000. great bikes! my mountain bike is an '07 Giant Anthem 1
Here in OZ its just the start of summer so we r starting to get into great riding weather. We have a summer criterium series that starts tomorrow night actually, wish me luck... i didnt ride much over winter!

It is warm enough here in the winter I can get in several rides a month. Otherwise I can set the bike in my trainer to ride.

Cool videos, I have a Diamond Back Outlook 18 speed. I try to get out and ride it from time to time. I had it past 20+ mph on a few occasions. I don't wear spandex though, can't see my self in them. If I'm not riding the Diamond Back, I'm walking the German Shepherd. Either one gives me a good workout.
