Arrow Needed: Las Vegas Detailer (obviously, reputable)

Greetings all,

I'm a noob here (directed here by another forum I belong to) and need help finding a reputable detailer in the Las Vegas area.

I have a new 07 Mazda 3s sedan (dark gray mica) that I want to keep looking great for many years to come. I was recommended to a shop here in Bullhead City (AZ) and after seeing a dark blue metallic Toyota 4Runner they worked on I was not impressed.

This shop told me that they recommend machine polishing a new vehicle and adding a one-year sealant for $85. I had originally been told/believed that claying a brand new vehicle and then applying sealant was the best. My friend's 4Runner had swirl marks all over it so I'm VERY hesitant to use this same shop.

I'm not too concerned about price -- more concerned with quality and attention to detail -- but I am a teacher so I'm definitely not independantly wealthy.

Thanks in advance for the help,
- Steve

Hah, I was *just* in Bullhead City. Wow, talk about hot! Too bad this wasn't up even a few days earlier or I could have brought my stuf and helped you. I actually may be headed back down to the river soon. I'll shoot you a PM and maybe we can set something up?

Another member asked for help in the LV area and if I recall, I don't think he was able to find assistance. I know there are a lot of car washes around the LV area, but as to how good their quality of work is I haven't a single clue.

I think you might have better luck finding a reputable detailer down here in SoCal. But being that your car is pretty new, I can't imagine it being heavily swirled up. Maybe your best bet is to just get some quality products and do it yourself, especially if you didn't want any machine polishing anyway. If your paint still looks like new, I would wash it, clay it, and apply a quality, durable sealant and save the money for a pro for when your car does need to be polished.

^^ agree with black elantra, just wash and wax your car now until sometime in December, then that'd be a good time for the bi-yearly detail from the pros. It'd be more worth your/detailer's time for a bigger detail than 1 which just involves wash and wax and clay.

I have a detailer in the LV area. Friend of mine, been detailing for years. He has done exotics and GM hired him and his crew for SEMA back in 2005 to detail their cars.
PM me if you want his number. His name is David and he runs Ohana Mobile Detailing.
