Selling car, need an exterior detail in SF Bay Area (Fremont)
We're planning to sell my wife's red 97 Ford Mustang convertible, and I want to get it looking the best I can before we sell it to up the value a bit. (blue book is $4250, we were going to ask $3200 to sell it quick, but if a good detail can help get us $3800-4100 we'd be super happy). I'm not looking for perfection, but the car has to look better, clay, polish, wax. I don't need the top or interior done, just the exterior.
Anyone have any recommendations in the area? I'm in Fremont. Please PM me with some pics of your work and estimated prices.

If you are physically capable. . . buy a Porter Cable, a few pads, a bottle of polish and grab a sample of sealant from a board member. . . $125. Spend Saturday morning polishing the paint. Raise your price $400 and call it a day.
Or, have it done by a local detailer. My guess is $200. Sorry I have no referrals for you.

Asking for a pro detailer came from this thread, where I asked if a PC was worth it for me to buy. Most people seemed to suggest a pro detailer.
