Endorsement of detailer here, username "RAG"

RAG came out to my house in Santee today to detail my 2007 Mustang GT. I've had it since August and this is my first time having it professionally detailed. Since owning it, it has had paint and dent correction done due to some stuff that happened last year. After the paint repairs, a sub-par final finish job was done. ( scratches in clear, not completely buffed etc )

COMMUNICATION:

RAG answered my emails promptly and explained my options to me after I gave him the description of what I thought my car might need. Although my car is "just a Ford", I am extremely anal about its appearance and who touches it!

TIMELINESS:

RAG was right on time. These days it seems almost impossible to even get someone to show up at your house, much less show up on time! I've dealt with a lot of contractors the past 2 years working on my house so that was a nice suprise!

WORK QUALITY:

My car was *very* clean when RAG showed up to detail it. It had just recently been washed by me and had Zaino Z2 w/ZFX applied. That's ALL I want to do/know how to do however, and it was time for some professional claybarring and polishing. No average car wash or "detailer" that I have seen would have been able to get it looking better than it already was. My goal is to take excellent care of it myself with regular washings and applications of Zaino, augmented by a professional detailing every 6 months.

RAG and his helper worked on the car for around 3.5 hours. The result is outstanding. Many of the tiniest things I had noticed in the paint are gone, most were tiny scratches found after the body shop repaired it that had been driving me nuts. He also polished out a long clearcoat scratch in my passenger door. Usually when you see someone using a buffing wheel on your car, you think you're going to have swirl city afterwards. Not the case here, everything is flawless. The car looks better than it did the 1st day I got it after my own personal painstaking 5 coats of Zaino job!

I can't stress enough how much I hate having other people work on my car, due to being screwed over so many times in the past. RAG is now the 1st and only person on my list of who to call when I need appearance/detailing work done. Thanks RAG!

EDIT: I should add this was not solicited at all. I found out about him from reading these forums a month or so ago when I registered.

RAG's a champion. Just a ford. That's one beautiful machine
Sure over in Australia we have 240 to 340 kw BA and BF Falcon Typhoons and GT's but that's a mustang mate. I'm not sure what power and torque figures are for that car but I'd love to slap one of our aussie built FPV engines in there. 500 + nm of torque standard.

Great job Rag! I have read a lot of Rags posts works just to make sure he is doing a great job. I will say that he does things right and correct. He also does a lot of research and ask questions. I was more than amazed when I seen him wetsand and polish a couple of cars on here too and did a great job!

I wish he would have more click and brags though

That's one beautiful Mustang for sure and RAG did a wonderful job with it. I've had dealings with RAG also, and he's one quality guy so don't loose his phone number.

Thanks everyone. Your comments are all greatly appreciated.

And sorry for my absenteeism on this magnificant board - I promised my wife I'd spend less time "playing" online and more taking care of my new son, house, and a couple other things. Oh yeah, I just passed my Real Estate license and am also doing home loans on the side

I never really mentioned it here, but my "real name" is:
