San Fransisco

Hey, question here. I'm a senior in high school and I'm currently looking at all the colleges that I have a chance to attend. One school that I have been accepted to and am seriously thinking about is SFSU. However, while touring San Fransisco and the campus... I couldn't help but think: "Where would I park my car and where would I have a chance to detail it?!?!" Any insight for you people that live in San Fransisco? By detail I mean everything, so I would need an outlet for the PC and Rotary and lots of shade. Is it just not possible in San Fransisco?

hey i go to SFSU, theres street parking like 4 blocks away from SFSU on junipero serra or 19th ave...those are the only 2 areas with unlimited hour parking..the rest of the area range from 1-2hr parking only...umm where do you plan to live?

Umm, I'm hoping to get on-campus housing... Is this parking area covered?

umm some of the housing has parking lots that are covered...but alot are open area

My buddy just graduated from SFSU.. he kept a car in town since his freshman year - found some garage about 4 or 5 blocks away from campus that rented spaces on a 3mo recurring basis.. I imagine it got a little pricy though.
