Sure....I'll have to see the conditon of the paint for the quote. I have jobs lined up but there's no reason to pay for a detail job this weekend especially since it's going to rain on Monday here in Sac! LOL! Would you rather wait till we have a dry week b4 you pay for a detail job?

Yea. The paint is in good condition except for where it got keyed next to the emblem on the back hatch (previous owner ). Its only an 2003 so there isn't any significant other than that.

Wow.....that is a viscious scratch that they left you with! Overall the paint doesn't appear to be that bad(meaning...it has the potential to shine very well!) Judging from the photos...part of the scratch may be able to be buffed out...other parts look like it is down to the primer. To give you an idea of what I would do on your explorer...STEP(1) wash, STEP (2) clay, -STEP(3) hand or machine buff (depending), STEP(4) apply a sealant (Klasse AIO), STEP(5) a nice coat of p21s Carnauba wax.

For that job alone on a car your size I charge $150 and it should take around 4 hours to complete. The goal would be to put the pizzaz back into the paint!

p.s. it looks like the scratch is on each side of your emblem......how that happened is a mystery...almost looks like someone keyed it...
