I am still very new this detailing so it would be a learning experience for me, as opposed to a sharing thing. I would love to see if anybody could actually get all the scratches out of my new Audi, cause I have been trying for weeks now with no success. I am a professional photographer so I could do photos of everybody rides as an exchange for the lessons.

Nevertheless, what I was desiring was a more-hands session composed of highly-experienced detailers where we could work on cars other than our own - presumably our cars are in relatively good shape. I want to see what process other detailers use when they come across a black vehicle that looks like it just came back from the dunes of Iraq.
But more on-topic...I would try to meet at the "meet" should one get scheduled.

I have a good client base and am fairly sure sombebody with a neglected black car would let me drive their ride to wherever necessary...for a free or discounted detail of course.
Maybe what we'll need to pitch in for is renting shop space for a day...unless someone comes through. Like I said, my place would work great...it just doesn't seem to be close to many of the interested persons. If we are going to have more of a generic "meet & clean," the park across from my house is PERFECT (and it's right on the bay beach). I have a pressure washer with 90 gallon tank on my truck, 3,500 generator, etc. On the other hand, if we have a "serious" professional development cross-training, my garage would suffice...but anything more than 5 people would be unwieldy.
