DFW, TX - Paint Chip/Gouge Repair Help!

Hi Guys,

This afternoon, I backed my Porsche 996 Turbo into my g/f's Murano. Fortunately, the damage is only limited to a dime sized paint/chip gouge.

Does anybody in the DFW area have any recommendations on a detailer that can come out, fill the gouge, and touch it up (airbrush it)? I'm looking for something reasonable (otherwise, I would have a body shop respray the entire bumper). References and close up pics of work would be nice.

Thanks,

///Michael

Re: DFW, TX - Paint Chip/Gouge Repair Help!

I had a gouge like that in my rear bumper of my Acura TL and a local Acura dealership in Plano fixed it for about $150.... Pearl White, couldn't tell it was ever gouged!!

Maybe try your dealer and get a quote at least....

Re: DFW, TX - Paint Chip/Gouge Repair Help!

Thanks Jeff. I had a recommendation to take it to the dealer, but figured I'd try here to see if there are any other options (besides dealer or body shop).

I guess the dealer it is then!

Thanks,

///Michael
