Presidential Detailing - Coming to CA!

Hey everyone, I may be coming out to California to detail several cars for a few clients but I am interested if there is anywhere that I should check out while I am in town. I am from FL and have never been to California, so I want to check out some places while I am there. I will be driving into the Sacramento area and then down to the LA area as of right now.. if anyone has any insight, please post up! I will be driving the entire trip, and plan to make a nice road trip out of it and document my experience as I go!

Thanks a lot!

Mountain roads I don't know. Highway 9 is cool too, lots of twists and turns and its a beautiful area.

Hwy 9 is nice, but real short. Hwy 35/Skyline is amazing at Sunset. Then from Hwy 35 you can take Page Mill Rd. Or if you're feeling daring take Hwy 1 to 84. That road is insane.. haven't been on it myself but have heard stories.

BTW, none of this is near Sac . But I know you'll be in the Bay at least one day...

84 is cool, very twisty and narrow. Be cautious on that road if you take it. Cool drive though.

Re: Presidential Detailing - Coming to CA!

From Sac you head on over to Geyserville and hop onto Skaggs Springs Rd. That will take you to Stewarts Point (Highway1) Trust me, you will love this drive. Lots of twisties all the way to Stewarts Point.

Once at Stewarts Point, catch Highway1 South to San Francisco. All along Highway1 there are fantastic views and awesome roads. You can weave in and out of Highway1 by taking side roads, but they all pretty much bring you back to Highway1. Navigation unit would be good.

Getting closer to San Francisco you can take Stinson Beach and again awesome views and great roads. Take the bridge (Golden Gate) into SF and enjow a lil bit of city life.

If you're hungry, stop at one of the Steak Houses on Highway1 (in the city its Van Ness Ave) Ruth's Chris is delicious for steaks but bring the check book.

Once leaving the city, catch Highway 280 to Woodlside exit (HWY84), make a right and that road will lead you to Alices Restaurant. If you're there on the weekend you'll see a lot of bikes and awesome cars. Once there catch highway 35 and then highway 9. highway 9 takes you into Santa Cruz.

Take Highway 1 South to leave Santa Cruz and head towards Monterey. Roll though Carmel, hwy17 (pebble beach) down towards the HEARST Castle. If you have a day to spare I would definitely take a tour of the Castle, you'll be amazed.

From there you can continue on Highway 1 down to LA or jump over to Interstate5 for a faster commute.

Trust me, you'll have a blast

Yes, In-N-Out is amazing. You get fresh, quality food for less than what you pay at crappy fast food establishments. Definitely worth checking out if you want good food or cheap food or both!

35/84 skyline for twisty mountain roads. Take 1 for the ocean scenary and stop off in the city for some good eats! I`d catch a Giants and an A`s game if you have time.

In-N-Out is superb, I am just thankful we have FiveGuys here in the east which at least tries to compete.
