Need some restoration for bmw in Anaheim - it'll be an amazing before and after

Hey guys.. anyone up for a challenge? it'll be a great before and after pic.
My brother has a 2002 740iL green that he has just not taken care of. I try to be a good influence but alas he just neglects it. I've convinced him that he needs finally get the car restored back to a respectable condition. I've told him that there's someone on this board that can come to his office or house and spend the day to get him back on track

Be forewarned, he hasn't washed his house in a long time, there's bird dropping oxidation, water spots, swirls galore, and has some pretty big scratches that we'd love to see corrected. The interior is a tan leather that definitely needs a leatherique treatment. The dashboard and center console is pretty dirty, and the carpet is downright nasty..

So who wants the project and how much do you think this will cost?

He lives in Garden Grove, and works in Anaheim.

I think it can come out spectacular.. If I had my equipment down south I'd try hitting a panel myself.. but alas I've moved.

Re: Need some restoration for bmw in Anaheim

Dang, that is one hell of a challenge right there. advs1 is right about the price quote after seeing it in person AND it having to stay in anyones shop/garage for a couple days. It sounds pretty extreme...

I would put my name down but I'm going to Vegas soon. GL to whoever gets the job

Re: Need some restoration for bmw in Anaheim

I convinced my other brother who has a 2002 pearl white escalade that he should get a detail from one of you guys as well. He actually keeps his car fairly clean, but the local wash every few weeks. I'd say only some paint correction, and some leather restoring on the inside with average dirty carpets.

They both work in the same office off of Brookhurst and LaPalma off the 5. So there's 2 jobs.. Any price breaks you guys think I should ask for 2 cars?
How much should I expect to be charged?

thanks!

Re: Need some restoration for bmw in Anaheim

you are looking at about 50/hr. 20-30 hours for the BMW and about 12-16 hours for the Escalade.

Re: Need some restoration for bmw in Anaheim

I can do it. I live in HB.

The BMW sounds like a multi-day reconditioning, not a detail! same with the escalade being so big!

Priced on after in person evaluation

Re: Need some restoration for bmw in Anaheim

sorry guys I didn't check in the last few days with travel.. I'm going to call him tomorrow and see what his budget is.. I thought it would be $300-$350 but based on some PM's and this thread it looks like it's going to be more...
