I'm in Riverside, but I'd make the drive to Whittier.

Why don't you do what meguiarsonline does, and just start a thread announcing the location, date, and time of the event. Then keep adding to (editing) that initial post to include everyone that has signed up for the event.

not a bad idea, but i have had my hand slapped for giving the name and address of my shop on here. i totally understand, its not my forum and i respect the wishes of the owners and mods. i might post up a thread asking any one interested to PM and will give them the info. unless i get permission from a mod?? i am not doing to sell anything, just to provide some much asked for help. i wouldnt push any thing on anyone, not my style regardless.

I'd ask one of the mods for permission to start such a thread. You don't have to give the address in the thread. You could just pm it to each person who signs up.
