I'm interested in this meet as well and the 29th of September should work ok for me.

Sorry for the delay: I'm going to call again tomorrow. Hope they will respond, but so far, not so good.

Turns out the 29th doesn't work for me, so I'll ask for the 22nd of Sept or Oct. 6. Hope that suits folks. If I can't nail down a date with them this week, I'm going to toss in the towel.

Just an update to the group. Well, another call this past Tuesday to DG not returned. I'll get back on it next week, but it seems that they just don't know what to do with the request. I don't know what to make of it.

My apoligies to the group that I can't seem to get traction on this from them. If anyone else wants to call DG, give it a go. Oct. 6 is good for me, too. I'll be out of town the next weekend of Oct. 13th, though.

Another option is to plan a date around a demo of the Majestic stuff, or something else.

Okay, this is me officially giving up. I've called them three more times, the last time leaving a message that I asked be provided to one of the 'brothers.' They don't have voice mail, you just give a message to a receptionist. I'm disgusted at putting in this much effort to get NO response! I'm not sure this has ever happened to me before. And what am I putting in the effort for? To create a PR event for them! Sheesh. Count me as officially off the DG fan club. I have left the building.

Anyone else is welcome to pick this up. I'm out.

I think they are just to laid back to do this....they seem like real country type people and can not be bothered doing some thing like this......lol.....I know one thing ..they are very famiy orientated and spend a ,lot of time with them....last time I talked to Jerry he was telling me about his daughter and things they did..lol...I believe the time off they have they spend with family..he said they spend 10-12 hours a day in the factory doing stuff ...so I guess weekends is thier time

Hey Sherri, I have some ideas for the next detail meet. What I'd like to see, and I hope others would too, is a vehicle that needs buffing, we each (those that want to) take a part of it and use the products that we like the best. Technique should be close if not exact and let's see how brand x compares to brand y. We kinda did that last time but, this time, let's document. I'll volunteer to represent Malco products.
