I need a good detailer in Jax. Please recommend...

Hi all -

I need to get my wfe's 2004 grand cherokee limited detailed. It's a 2004 and has never been detailed. We have 2 kids (6 and 10), so they have had their way with the car (i.e. orange juice spills on the carpet, bike handles down the side, etc). There isn't anything major, but definitely could use some TLC.

Tower Auto Detailing is in my company garage deck. They said the can do it (wash, clay, polish, wax, etc). However, I want to see who else is out there.

If you are a detailer in jax or know of a good detailer in Jax, please let me know. If you have pictures of your work (before and after), that would be even better.

And... while we are on the topic.. has anyone used Tower Auto Detailing before? Are they any good?

Thanks,
Thomas

Well I guess there is no one in the forum from N. FLA or SE GA. This msg and mine have been out for almost a week and no word.

There are a few of us around but most do it as a hobby. I am in Savannah and spend half my time in Jax but my supplies are in Atlanta. I hope to meet up with some fellow autopians soon in Jax. Good luck with your searches!

Would you consider stopping in the Golden Isles on your way down to JAX?

There used to be a guy on here that got banned, NOSEBLEEDSPEED. I just found out, however, that he no longer details cars.

There is a guy -- I think his last name is Mayerlin -- who used to detail cars in garages downtown. Check with the Modis Building garage...I think he does cars in there.

Most of us here just do our own cars.

Hmmmm maybe this another market I should look into. I already have Central and South Florida, but never considered trekking up North! There has to be an autopian from up in Northern Florida!!

I have a guy I call up when I need some wet sanding or buffing done for scratches. He works at a dealership and by far the best I've seen.

I do some detailing on the side with my friends car. Other than that, I detail my car as a hobby. Check out some of my work...http://autopia.org/forum/click-brag/...4th+July+S2000

I say we should all meet up one day!

Re: I need a good detailer in Jax. Please recommend...

I see a few mobile detail trucks out here in Atlantic Beach but can't speak for their work.

Nobody touches my cars though.

A guy with a mobile setup that works for the City Of Atlantic Beach has a business called "so fresh so clean" and he does alot of the cars in the area but i think it's just hand wax kinda thing.

If i hear of anyone i'll let ya know.

Do you detail your own car?
