Having met ZippyMbr (Matt) and MartinD last week, just floating the idea of a Detailing Meet. Zippy has been gracious enough to open his Air Conditioned ( ) Garage in Durham. Driveway, is flat, can fit 8-10 vehicles and the shop is 52x32 (?). It's always fun to meet and comment on different paint types or detail combo's. As well, exchange Automotive service referrals (Bodyshop, Paint Films), or products.
That being said, please list your availability, interest for some activities, or even just to let us know if your in the Carolinas.
Name / Location / Info:
1) SilvaBimma - Cary, NC - In & Out of the Country, Rotary/PC Work, Open this Month.

Count me in! If Zippy's garage falls through, then we always have my air-conditioned 60x40 garage that is always open, just in case.

Not a lot of free time but a Saturday would be nice if not busy. Always looking to improve technique and meet people with the same addiction.

I've been afraid to try a rotary and would like to actually see it done correctly and be able to ask some questions before trying it myself. I think I am about to order (with the wife's permission) a Makita BO6040 dual-mode polisher. Hopefully I will it have before this get together weekend so some of you can try the random orbit with forced rotation mode.

Anywhere near the Piedmont Tirad, Charlotte, or Research Triangle and I'm there! I just got the hand of the rotary this weekend and I love it! Twice the power in half the time of the PC.

I still have my shop that we can meet at, and I have some decent supplies along with a rotary and PC. June Bug is down the street from me, and others arent far away from my area, I am about 20 min away from I-540 in raleigh.
This Saturday would work well for me!
