Im looking to have a Florida Autopians meet in Gainesville Fl. I want to get as much support as possible for this event and if we get a descent turnout I'll organize more meets around the state and get some serious networking going on.

damn, i'm game for a meet but you'd have to drag gainsville a little bit closer to ft lauderdale!

I'd be to but it would have to be closer to the Daytona-St. Augustine area also.

Bill! Come on now, st augustine is a heck of alot closer to Gainsville than port saint lucie is

I'm good for anywhere that isnt in the panhandle. Ill just stay somewhere overnight if need be.

Well, if there's enough interest and scheduling allows:

Daytona Beach in a car show setting could be an option.

The show is open to vehicles of all years.

Even if you just come as a spectator, make sure you trace your way back the way you came in. Last year many of the exits were locked up and I wound up walking up and down part of the length of the track for 45 minutes trying to get out.

He he, the Speedway is a nice place to experience, but that was a little too much experiencing!

The Daytona beach spring car show sounds like a good idea. March 24-25-26. Not saying we should stay the whole time but we should atleast make it a day. What does everyone think about the 26th? Its a saturday. Clear your plans and tell your friends we can definitely make this work.
