Atlanta Detailing Club Secures Lexus Dealership for Meetings

Good news!

We have secured a site for our Atlanta & Southeast detailing club to meet and will be rescheduling the Atlanta meet soon. I wanted to secure the site before proceeding.

The site is Nalley Lexus on Cobb Parkway in Marietta!

This is a huge and luxurious recently built Lexus dealership right near I-75 and I-285 near the Galleria mall. They also have a 45 person training center which we can use and a large parking lot and service bays in a spotless and comfy modern service area.

This is really our dream location and when you visit it you will see why.

We have also had some recent good conversations with Poorboy's World and PakShak and they will be supporting us. We also have two very experienced detailers who have offered to discuss techniques.

We will update this thread as we finalize details. My best guess is that we will meet sometime in June. I apologize for the delay but I want the first event to be special.

Wow, that sounds fantastic! Just out of curiosity, are you doing this on a day when the dealer is closed? How did you swing the use of their facility?

No, in fact we are there on Saturday a very busy day but they have a large facility and Saturday works best since the training center is free that day.

It's really generous of Nalley Lexus to offer us a place and we are looking forward to hosting a top-notch event.

Yes, I know Fran! She is very nice and she and I talked about the Fbody gathering that goes on every year. I think her and her husband are Zaino fans. Nalley has some very good people. My sales guy there is just terrific. Another guy at the dealership is married to my wife's equestrian instructor.

I'm looking forward to the event. My hope is to create a nice atmosphere that is half instructional and value added from a technique standpoint and half social so a bunch of car crazy people have a place to gather.
