I hit it with the DACP and I still have moderate swirling and some fairly light rotary holograms She needs to be clayed again, and I need to buy new clay as all of mine has been delegated now to wheels. I was thinking of SGx2 and UPP regularly. I put UPP on the Chrysler and it looks amazing.
KiRiMa, probably. My spring break is the end of this month, but I'll be too busy partying to do get to NoVa.
After this month were already in April, and it always rains in April. April showers bring May flowers...
Now, I have a huge marketing test I have to study for.

I've gone to coin operated car wash and hand washed it a few times, I bring a bucket full of water from home so I don't waste too much money filling it up, it would take forever. Noone has complained but I usually go at 8am when it's empty.

Anyway, I was thinking along the lines of:
Rotary skills
Wetsanding skills
Bowhunting skills
Paint chip repair skills
Engine cleaning skills
and Cage fighting skills.
Is there anything else not mentioned that some of the new guys to detailing might want some help with? Claying, PC, etc?
Now, who has mastered any of these? I am going to attempt some paint chip repair on my Lexus as soon as I can find a color match for it. I don't think PaintScratch.com has my code

I live in Virginia Beach, and I know of several other detailers in the northern VA/ Northern N.C. area. Can anyone think of a central location to use, should this happen? I would suggest my own home, but I want to avoid making anyone else drive too far. | I've been interested from the start but have not responded until now. It looks like you were planning a March date but are now pushing back until April. Click on this link to see a Google map of Richmond, I-295, and U.S. 301. I can come from Maryland down U.S. 301 to a nearby location, such as the Memorial Regional Medical Center or the Chickahominy Bluffs-Battlefield Park (click on the plus sign on the map to enlarge in order to see the park).
This is ONLY a suggested meeting area.
Please put me on your buddy list for PM updates. Thanks,
Charles | |

The roof has 17 holes from the crappy factory roof rack I took off, with a bad bondo job by me. I have a door with a BB shot in it, so the paint has come off there and needs some work. Quite a few nicks across my hood, and I have an oil leak on the back of my engine.
And I want a new paintjob anyways.. But before I get her painted, I want to get some practice in, so I can keep the new paintjob looking fresh and clean.
I already wetsanded through the clearcoat in one spot trying to take out a scratch. I used the philosophy of "don't wetsand unless you are prepared to repaint" when I did it.
And I'm definetaly down for a meet.

If not your welcome to use my new place in bethesda, MD. It's pretty central to a lot of people, I don't have a garage but I have a large driveway that can fit a bunch of cars, could be enough space to detail 5-6 cars at a time. I'm also pretty close to the beltway.
