Question FL: Looking for a good carwash in Tampa that will not break the bank.

Hey guys, I no longer have time to detail my own car. I'm looking for a carwash or a detailer that can do a great job (wash, wax, vacuum, dust, shine) for under $50?

Can anyone vouch for anything/anyone) in Tampa, FL?

    Thanks.

    He is asking $120 for wash/wax/vacuum. That's a bit higher than $50.

One of these has to go. If you're fixed on that price, don't expect a THOROUGH vacumming, the car to be clayed before waxing or a quality wax/sealant to be used. You CAN expect cheap wax in every crevice, dirty wheel barrels and wheel wells, etc. Quality costs, and it's what sets Garry apart from Autobell or two guys in a shady panel van with a pressure washer and a bunch of scummy brushes.

I'm driving a 9 year old Toyota, I'm not looking for an epic job, just for someone that will not scratch up the car.

But that dude is asking $120 for Hand wash, Spray wax, Vacuum.

I am pretty confident that his 120 wash wax and vac will probably rival the "50 dollar" place's "full" detail.

Not only that but everything that Mikenap just said AND its going to last longer, you won't have to go back as much and it will be that much easier to maintain.

Actually I just checked Garry's site. His 80-120 dollar package includes considerably more than just a wash/spray wax/ wipedown. Are you sure you went to the right website?

I sent him an email, asking for a basic wash/wax/vac. He replied $80.

When I was 12 years old back in 1990 I used to get $35 for a wash, wax, vacuum. Finding a grownup in 2011 to do it for $50 will be a challenge. A $50 wax job is like a $10 tire. I wouldn't trust it.

if your looking for a $50. job then try one of those detail tents you see at gas stations. that's the only people i know of that will give you what you want for that price.
