Tampa Meet in October

Who is up for an Autopia Meet in Tampa on a Saturday in October?

Is there a Tampa area auto products business lurking out there that would be willing to host a group of 10-15 paintheads for six hours or so on October 11, 18 or 25? I guarantee you that these guys will spend a fortune. The basic requirements are water, electricity and shade. Please PM me if you have a suitable location.

Any interest here? We need a host. I've spoken with a couple of Tampa business owners with no luck. I would host the meet at my house again, but I am (thankfully) exceptionally busy with work.

We're probably looking at the last two Saturdays in October, and the first two in November as possible dates.

Off-Topic: Are any of you Upper Tampa Bay guys familiar with Auto Salon painting and body shop in Safety Harbor? I spotted a CRAZY Escalade at a Tampa gas station yesterday. I talked to the owner who told me that his new paint was PPG "Is It Green" (Izzit Green?), done by Auto Salon. Lime green flake, fading to blue as the angle changes... wild. This is probably old news to many of you, but I was like a kid at the Magic Kingdom.

It appears that we should pronounce this meet Dead On Arrival. Let's try again after the first of the year. I'm sure we would have a decent attendance. We simply need a host who can provide electricity, water and shade or a garage.

I have yet to attend one of these, what is to be expected? What normally goes on for these meets?? Maybe I can find a good host location...im very interested in meeting some fellow autopians!
