TAMPA MEET: Any experienced rotary/PC users that would not mind sharing tips/tricks
Hi,
I am located in the Brandon/Tampa area.
I have worked on several cars over the past year or so, but have not been satisfied with the results I am getting.. I am convinced its down to my technique. I would like to learn from an experienced user who doesn't mind sharing some of their PC and rotary techniques as well as their process.. I'd prefer just watching and asking questions, as I learn much better that way, that way I wouldn't be imposing as much if you were doing a customers car or something like that...
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: As per suggestion of a few people, it would be a good idea to make this a meet so we can get more people to benefit from it.

Maybe you could get a little get together/cookout going? I'm in the Tampa Area (St Pete) and wouldn't mind getting some rotary tips/advise

Re: Any experienced rotary/PC users in Tampa area willing to teach a newbie?
How bout calling it a meet for the Tampa Bay area? maybe more folks want to join in. Haven't have one in about a yr now. All we need is someone with a garage so everyone can take turns on a donor car. I got supplies and a UDM and someone else can bring a rotary too. The only days i'm off is Sundays when i'm not doing someones ride. So what do you think of this?

Well I will be down there around July 16th give or take a few days. Ive got a DA, makita, metabo, flex, and a dewalt. I wouldnt mind bringing a few of them down along with a few products. What products would everyone like to give a try? I most likely have it, so let me know what you'd be interested in trying, and I will bring it. My truck cant be the donor vehicle unless a garage can fit it (8 inch lift with 37s)

A meet would be a fine idea, I think it'd be great for other newbs to learn as much as they can. I just don't have a usable garage... If anyone else would like to chime in...

I'd be in for sure as long as I can get off from work which shouldn't be too hard. I'd like to see some rotary action. I'm in north tampa but my garage is full of cars and crap.

If you do a meet, and do some sort of barbeque, it would be awesome! I would love to go with the little lady. We could even pick out a car to detail between all the detailers that go.
