Men's Care Products...

Hey guys,

Couldn't find a previous thread to put this in but I just wanted to mention to anyone looking for a good face toner/moisturizer that I just received my Baxter California products from Mens Essentials and they are by far the best products I have used. I don't really have acne breakouts but sometimes get little acne bumps which makes my skin look un-even due to stress and during the day about mid-afternoon my face gets some shine. The toner I ordered makes your skin look even and after one application for a whole day I didn't get any shine. As for the moisturizer it leaves a shiny look for about 2 minutes while it does it's thing and then leaves a matte look behind.

Just my .02 if anyone is looking for these kinda products.

Whats a good facial skin cleaner/moisturizer? I work in a warehouse tempering glass and man with all the seaming of glass creating glass dust and just dust my skin takes a beating. I don't need a fruity foo foo smelling cream either if it can smell like saw dust of race fuel that would be great .

On the Men Essentials website look at the following:

Baxter of California Skin Toner Facial Scrub (Haven't tried but is going to be my next purchase)

and

Baxter of California Oil Free Moisturizer (Works great! - Keeps my face moisturized without feeling shiny/greasy)

Neither smell fruity, in fact they really don't have much scent at all. I also read that the Anthony products are pretty good.

Not sure about the Skin Toner Facial Scrub

Take a handful of wet sand... add a little almond oil scent.. apply to face and scrub. This is this product.

OUCH.

Scrub grains are large and very abrasive, much more than I think are necessary. The scent is very nice, though, having a pleasing almomd scent, but I really didn't want to scrub my face with this stuff. More gentle, pleasing scrubs exist that do the same job.
Most of the reviews say the same. I don't have sensitive skin so the big particles may not be a problem.

What has this forum turned to???

To answer your question: You can't go wrong with The Art of Shaving or Truefitt and Hill products. Nothing girly about them. Just good, natural products. Unfortunately, they're also high performance - high end products and a littly pricey . . . like Zymol!!!
