Re: Deodorant/Antiperspirant

Update on the Certain Dri.

Another big benefit is that the bottle will last a long time. I'm near the end of my first bottle..about 3 months!

and I'm not getting the anti perpirant gunk stains on my tshirts!

Re: Deodorant/Antiperspirant

+1 here for Certain Dri.

I've used Mitchum for some years and it has worked OK, but I'm warm-natured and pit heavily. About a week with Certain Dri (daily) has made a world of difference...now going to back off to every-other day and see how it goes.

Not a miracle product, but definitely a HUGE improvement for me! Thanks for sharing this information!

You apply it before you go to bed, and in your first day, you will already see/feel the difference. What it does it closes the pours in your pits, so you wont sweat. I recommend wearing a deodorant for scent because this doesnt do much for scent.

Buy Certain Dri Antiperspirant Roll-On for Excessive Perspiration Online at drugstore.com

Greg
Works great. Have been using it for a couple of years now. Use whatever cheap stuff that's on sale for the day time.

When I first started using it, it itched really bad for about 2 or 3 weeks. After that, no problems?

Re: Deodorant/Antiperspirant

The prescription that is like Certain-dri is called Drysol. Much better, but if certain dri is working for you keep using.

Re: Deodorant/Antiperspirant

Mitchum for me. It has worked the best out of all OTC I have tried.

Re: Deodorant/Antiperspirant

kinda off topic a bit...

i find that deodorants leave behind a white chalky reside caked onto my shirts that doesn't come off in the wash. Anyone find a product that doesn't do this? I'm currently using Old Spice Red Zone Deodorant/Anti-perspirant. Its annoying cause it ruins the shirts after a while!

Re: Deodorant/Antiperspirant

GTP, how about using the non-antiperspirant version? Is that an option for you? I use Old Spice Arctic Zone (no anti-perspirant), and it doesn't stain at all.

This is one of the main reasons I switched. I don't get the caking anymore!

Re: Deodorant/Antiperspirant

Old Spice High Endurance for me, works great and it's clear, so no chalky white crap (which I hate).

Re: Deodorant/Antiperspirant

Probably anything without the perspirant won't give caking.
