I have to reccomend Basenotes: Your independent online guide to the world of perfume and fragrances, great info around fragrances. They have a directory of pretty much every fragrance made, user comments on every scent, a breakdown of the composition (notes), similar fragrances listed, a forum, etc. They also have annual awards for the best fragrances. The site can be quite addictive though..
For everyday wear I like Thierry Mugler - Cologne, very fresh and clean scent. Also Armani - He.
Other favorites: Issey Miyake - L'eau .. , Lacoste - Pour Homme, Gucci - Envy, Victoria's Secret - Very sexy for him.
Have to try that John Varvatos, sounds like something I'd like, even though I really don't need any more colognes... Much like detailing supplies

It definitely has a nice smell, it's more for when I really get "dressed" up on the weekends though, it's not something I'd wear everyday to work.

I haven't worn cologne in probably near to a year now, though, and especially not that Touch as it has certain memories tied to it

I have on occasion used Burberrys, Quorum, and I still have my old (1981) Paco Rabanne. I'm stuck on Hugo though, must be getting set in my ways (old age).
