Shaving The Head...

I started shaving my head a few years ago, when I realized that gray and thinning was not for me

Here are some links for those of you who may be interested in shaving your head, or if you already are:

Re: Shaving The Head...

It actually felt kinda good to do it... A wierd good... And it's always nice when the ladies want to rub it. Gotta keep in moisturized

And here is what it looked like afterwards. I had to grow the goatee to divert attention from the loss of hair... Otherwise I look like Mr. Clean!!!

Re: Shaving The Head...

I have been thinking of doing this but don't have the balls. I wish there was some kind of program or something where I could see what I would look like bald before I do it.

God created a few perfect heads, and the rest he put hair on.

Re: Shaving The Head...

I have been shaving the dome for the last 33 years with a full scruffy type beard to complement the now freckled coconut. I have overused 2 Norelco electrical shavers and many replacement disks.

Envision the following from Robin Hood and his merry men - I have the Friar Tuck cut– clean from temple to temple going around back like somebody put a bowl on my head and then planted hair.

If I let my beard and side hair grow out 3” then using hair spray and hair gel I would look like friggin Bozo the Clown. Sure your busting a gut with this vivid Kodak moment – but more than a few people have made this remark to me. Yep all the hair is red and now going grey.

I have fun being the bald guy and make fun of myself at various times which really makes others comfortable when you are at a social outing – gets people laughing and talking.

Oh a word of warning to those who may be thinking about get a toupee – don’t! You do look like an idiot and everybody knows it. Grow a set and be a manly man for goodness sake.

Been married to my bride for 21 years.

Re: Shaving The Head...

I WAS a variation on Mr. Clean for Halloween last year. At work they combined funniest and scariest and I won

I always kept mine real close, but about 3 years ago shaved it all off. Best thing in terms of comfort I have ever done for personal grooming! But, when you start, be sure you have some hats for the sun!!!!
