The book has a really bad cover, and I almost didn't buy it because it looked so out dated, but I'm so glad that I did. Mills' book It's absolutely marvelous!

This is the first book I've read that explains why we [men] are the way we are, in a way that even women can understand. Guys, I recommend reading this book and sharing it with any woman you car about. It's thought provoking, funny and, at times, enraging for both sexes. A definite must-read for anyone seeking cultural understanding, enlightenment and personal growth.

Prinz, be sure to have the wife read it, too. At first she may think you're a "pig", but it will soak in.

I don't expect all (or even most) women to understand me... only the ones I care about.

Fact of the matter is, we men are largely raised by women and then are expected to start acting like men in some magical transformation, whereas women get to act like women from the very beginning. In this regard, women need to get a clue and start raising their male children like men. However, that would also mean they have to understand what it is to be a man... so I suspect I'm barking up the wrong tree.
