That's as complicated as asking what makes a great man. What are the qualities of any good person?
My personal opinion is that there are only two qualities in this world: love and fear. A person who does everything out of love, is a perfect person. Someone who does everything out of fear is an imperfect person. We all fall somewhere in between.
With that thought in mind, a great woman is someone who gives of herself selflessly, because that is what it means to love. She knows that through her giving, she will in turn receive all that she requires and desires. She acts not out of fear, because this leads to acts of selfishness.
It's not easy to do everything from a place of love, because the ego gets in the way. This is more the plight of man than woman. However, most women have their own places of fear (am I desirable, too fat, too thin, too short, too white...) and this often causes them to do things that we guys simply do not understand. How can we? We're guys!
So, the illusive "Great Woman" is the gal who can cut through it all, is happy with who she is (and what she's got!), and gives 100% out of love with the confidence that she will receive the same in return.
