Just got this pressure washer.....

Just picked this up.......
NorthStar Professional Series Pressure Washer — 4000 PSI, 3.5 GPM |Gas/Cold Water | Northern Tool + Equipment

I think it maybe a lot for what I do but so what. It was cheap. I don't have a hose but just ordered one. Has anyone used this model before? I know it's pressure is adjustable from 100-4000 psi. This should be good then for cars.

That's a nice upgrade from your Karcher! Were you having problems with your Karcher or just wanted to upgrade?

Re: Just got this pressure washer.....

Wish I knew you needed a hose! I have a brand new hose and wand kit with the nozzle jets even.

Re: Just got this pressure washer.....

My first reaction when I saw 4000psi was to ask what you will be doing with it, offering touchless paint stripping services?

Then I saw "adjustable from 100psi which is something I want, but this model costs way much more than my needs would justify. What other adjustable pressure models you are aware of, if any?

Justin30513, congrats on that pressure washer, it's one quality unit. The commercial Honda engine combined with the Cat pump adds up to a real winner.

Start far away with your wand and get closer until you get the level of cleaning you want, and you might want to invest in a pair of steel toed boots. I'm serious. Huge pressure like that, combined with a moment of inattention, and you're into a whole lot of grief, so steel toed boots are your friend.
