Question So Cal Professional detailer needed!

I am new to this forum and i am trying hard to learn how to detail my cars. I've been inspired to buy a PC since everyone seems to find success with it. Although, i am confused with the many polishing, waxing brands to work with from many different opinions on here.

Can anyone recommend me to a good professional detailer particularly in the LA area/Inland Empire/909 area??? There are few auto detailers in my area but dont know if i can trust them with my car. So i thought it'd be best if i could get an opinion or recommendation from the members here.

I want to start detailing my car but i am afraid of destroying the paint or messing up. So i decided the first thing is to watch and learn how its done before i do the work myself. I am more of a hands-on learning type vs. just reading lots of books and testimonials.

Any referrals or recommendations are welcome

High Desert Area

Greetings friend. Well I have a small detailing business on the side and stick to interiors and exteriors due to the fact I do not want to hassle with the hassles of waste water reclamation with engine detailing.

I too started because I wanted to take care of a friends car that was destroyed by hiring a teenager who needed money and washed and waxed her car. Well, actually, scratched and swirled her car from bumper to bumper!! Turns out I sorta had a knack for fixing it.

Anyhow, I use both the PCDA and a high speed buffer and am little familiar with how to operate them and also am familiar with a few products.

Ship me a Private message with your location and maybe I can "drive down the hill" on one of my days off (from my 9-5) and help ya get started. PS What kinda cars we workin on?

Take care

He didn't actually say what "close to him" is. The "LA area/Inland Empire/909 area" is larger than most New England states, not to mention a good number of European countries.

Fellow Autopian, Joe, a.k.a. SuperiorShine works out of the San Gabrial Valley.

He does superb work.

PC.

Check out http://www.meguiarsonline.com/ They have weekend (free) detailing seminars at Meguiars corporate headquarters in Irvine on many saturdays. If you are looking for a good place to start learning the proper way to maintain your car....this is a great place.
