Need Drying Towel Recommendations

Okay, I've done a search on here and there are so many discussions about drying towels that it makes one's head spin. I'm sure that some are better for different applications, so I'll tell you what I'm doing, and you tell me what you think would be best.

In a couple of weeks I'll be starting a car wash for a couple of office complexes. I will be using ONR to wash the vehicles. What would be a good towel to use in drying with the ONR. I'll be out in a parking lot, with the sun beating down on me, so I need something that will dry well and help prevent streaking, which ONR should do anyway.

Myself, I've always used QEW in the past because it was available locally. Now it is not, and if I'm going to order something anyway, I'll go ahead and try the ONR that everyone raves about.

So, what kind of towel would you use? Remember, this is just for drying after an ONR wash, and I do have to factor in the cost per towel.

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

No question whatsoever, the white WW's from Wal-Mart in the kitchen towel section. I think the brand name is Mainstays. They are $2.96 for a two-pack, and I believe the size is 16x24.

Re: Need Drying Towel Recommendations

I really prefer a good quality WW towel to dry the car over a MF. I just like to hear the water get "sucked" into the towel. hehe.

Re: Need Drying Towel Recommendations

The best ones I have used so far are the yellow VROOM towles from Target! Surprising.....I know!! Bu they really seem to pull the water off nicely and I haven't noticed any swirling from them at all!!

I use the WalMArt Mainstays for glass and can't imagine using anything else for glass....but wouldn't they be too small for drying? Just a question!!

completly agree, best towels ive used so far, ive also had good success with microfiber towels although they take a bit more effort to actually dry the car.

Re: Need Drying Towel Recommendations

Patrick's Excel Monterey Waffle Weave Drying Towels are the best. They're worth every dollar and they're silk-edged to boot!
