Well it has been 4 days on my new job and 15 cars later. I can't even walk. The guy working before me only did the easy ones. Now I have done 8 full details. and the rest were deliveries. I start at 7am and do not finish until 6pm. This will be 6 days a week.

At least they are very happy with my work. Goint to talk to the Services Sup. so I can get permission to re-arrange the bays and get some self reeling cords.(for safety reasons)

Don't let them take advantage of you. If you are knocking it out, then ask for more cash. If not they will work you to death.

Just to add a sense of balance, here in Central Indiana things are fine, just fine.
We increased our pricing by 15% and volume is up at least 10%.

While the overall economy may be down, our targeted demographic is not affected.

I would guess the same is tue in SW Florida (Naples is doing fine, for example.)

Jim, I will agree that my targeted clients are not feeling the effects. Since I am mobile I increase my prices with each new client to cover the increased fuel costs.
