Re: Critique My Website

I dont like the blue to white graident boardes on the side... visually I am distracted by them. Like they lead my eyes off the page and into the white spaces to the side.

Also what does centered text look like for your nave buttons?

It is structured very nicely, though! Not really much you need to change (IMO) just a bit of tweeking here and there.

I viewed it in Firefox with a screen rez of 1280x1024

Re: Critique My Website

Beside's the above mentioned points . Your site looks very good , a few things that caught my eye were the car at the top looks snowy . Less white along the border , try streching the center part. You have some great looking cars in your gallery , however your equipment laying around makes the picture look cluttered and junky. On your services you mention NXT alot , I wouldn't name products I used ,especially when those products are OTC ones . Some customer's may feel like they aren't getting anything special from you or your services with your use of OTC waxes. Name the step not the product used.

Did you put that site together ? If so what did you use ?

Re: Critique My Website

I agree with Rollman. I wouldn't mention products by name either.

Your prices floored me. Why would you do a wash for $20.00. Heck, even if the customer is next door, you're working way too cheaply nevermind if you had to drive 15 minutes to/from.

Re: Critique My Website

A couple of things...

Instead of offering 15% OFF for new customer referrals, you may want to think about offering a dollar amount, such as $20 OFF the customers next detailing.

Also noticed that you refer to NXT as carnauba wax. Wouldn't it be considered more of a polymer sealant, rather than a carnauba?

Re: Critique My Website

I like the layout of the site just a few issues.
A) the price for the bronze is quite low.
B) The pictures you have aren't of high quality and not in the best lighting (shade, lack of sun/halogens), ex. the rover S/C looks black in half the pictures and blue in the others (I know it is buckingham blue )
C) your one detail says 2 coats of nxt and one coat of sealant, IMO sorta overkill you can probably do that a little diferently

Overall I like the site, it is easy to use and navigate.
