Place to find info for research assignment on Auto Detailing Industry

Im currently writing a business plan for starting a mobile or fixed location auto detailing business for my business class. Im still int he phase of gathering and organizing data.

I was wondering if any of you professionals out there know a good source or sites that have info/data on the auto detailing industry in the US.

So far the most informative piece of work Ive seen was from an article found non other than right here in autopia by David Bynon.:

Do you guys know any place else where I can find info on stuff like industry analysis, marketing niches, financials, customer definition, market trends, or ANYTHING at all

Sounds like an interesting research assignment. I am sure many here will be glad to offer you assistance. Here are a couple of good sources that may help you to gather and organize data.

The International Carwash Association may have some valuable info for you at their website; http://www.carlove.org/index.cfm

Also, the SBA Training & Counseling Partners at the U.S. Small Business Administration would also be a good starting point.
