looking for a pro in SF area

I have a relative that is looking for a professional detailer in San Francisco or Bay Area that. Does anybody know of any good detailers or detail shops out here?
Thanks in advance.

buddy, it looks like there is no Bay area detailer that posts here...I've been looking too. I searched in the archive and quite a few people have been looking for one.

that's awful, you'd think with all the nice cars in SF that there would be a reputable detail shop or detailer.. O well maybe when I graduate to a pro Autopian, I'll start a detail biz in SF

There are plenty of detailers in the bay area (check the yellow pages), but I am astounded that not one post here on a regular basis (maybe over at detailcity.com?). You think you would want to "show off" a bit at the same time to help the business flowing. Everytime I see Scottwax's pics I wish I was living in Texas so I can get my car detailed by him.

There are times I think Autopians are such an elite group of people because not many people would have time to take care of the cars like the autopians do. Like most people in the Bay Area I spend so much time on the road and the car just get dirty in one day, but I'd like to have a "show room" shine as often as possible--that's why I am here.

There are a few autopia members from the bay area, including myself. I know of none that are "professionals," but I can think of at least one person who does what I think is professional-caliber work. His name on this board is carguy, and he's done some very in-depth, informative posts on procedures and product comparisons.

detailwerks in Campbell is good shop. I see many mobile trucks around the area too, but don't know if they're good or not. I detail as a fundraiser for my church (www.ipcf.net/detailing.html), send me a PM if you're interested, thanks!

I'd also be willing helping out in person any way I can. I'm open to PM's, too.

I just got my wife's car back from AJ's auto detailng in san jose with superb results. She had a can of yellow spray paint explode in the interior all over the leather front seats and they cleaned it up better than new. Their exterior detail was gorgeous as well....nothing but porsches, bmw's and sports cars when i was there.
