Excellent way to market your services
We're doing a car for a dealer today that has had this car detailed at 2 shops already and still retains a strong smell of smoke despite paying for 2 full details + ozone treatments. These shops are the typical under cutter wholesale type guys and the first thing I did when I got the call was check the headliner in the car (never cleaned, yellow with nicotine and covered in dirt) and check the cabin air filter, show here beside a new one

I did a quick write up regarding the advantages of using our shop compared with the other guys using these pics and the car as an example and posted it up on our website and Facebook page. Using examples like this stressing your training, experience and expertise is a great way to set yourself apart from all the run of the mill guys out there competing for your work on low prices and mediocre work.Scotty's Shine Shop

Nice catch. Checking/changing the cabin air filter and dealing with the headliner should be pretty obvious when dealing with an odor removal job; that the other shops didn't definitely shows a lack of experience and/or lack of caring.
