Mercedes 500 SL HArdtop Glass Repair

I detailed one of my regulars MB 500 SL and he mentioned that he scratched the rear window on the hard top. I looked at it and it is definitely scratched in two places and polishing will not remove them. Actually it appears the outermost coating was scratched off. Is there a way to "touch up" the outer laminate?

that is a negative. there is no way the coating can be touch up ,, that was an expensive error on his part

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't think there was any way to repair or even hide the scratches but I figured I would ask.
